The Point - Office

2021 Kuta, Lombok.

Situated on the street front within the compound of ‘The Point’ Resort, the office is a simple steel framed structure which provides space for a multifunctional facility. The design language used is different to the surrounding resort, this gives the structure a separate identity, bringing into focus its alternative usage and giving the street a more varied style.

The design utilises a solar shading concept which also pivots to provide a canopy in the entrance and parking areas. The building communicates a dynamic ‘kinetic’ aesthetic, with a more urban style than the natural materials of the surrounding hotel.
