Rikazora Habitats

The Rikazora designs are inspired by the regional vernacular styles, using local construction methods and technologies, but with a very contemporary aesthetic.

The main consideration is to have a structure that is fairly easy to assemble in challenging topographic conditions, the footprint also lends itself to steep hillside plots, with a minimal projection from the slope making it an efficient piece of engineering..

The Habitats can exist independently or joined via a deck / pool, or even grouped around common facilities. An expanded version for use as multi room residence is currently on the drawing board.
