Dog Pad

The design is based around a functional modular approach, as components age at different rates and require different schedules for washing, the design must be responsive to this.

The form is inspired by modernist furniture and the design language echoes this and is complimentary to such interior environments.

Compositional the main shell of the form is moulded ply, with chrome trim, the inlay is hard plastic covered in fabric. The removable soft bed is fabric wrapped foam and the small washable pillow is covered in the same fabric with piping along the seams.
